I have been a fan of Mcfly since 2004, when I first heard the boys. That year I saw them perform for the first time, and it hasn’t been my last; I still remember my mum telling my friends and I to calm down as we screamed along to Five Colours.  I’ve seen them in Brighton, London, Southampton and Portsmouth over the past nine years and I’m still a huge fan. These boys have created songs everyone can relate to, and they’ve helped me through some difficult times. One day I hope to meet them so I can tell them just what a difference they have made to my life.
I took this photo in Portsmouth on Tuesday this week. I handed in my University dissertation and set off to see the boys.. what an amazing way to celebrate!

"I firmly believe in small gestures: pay for their coffee, hold the door for strangers, over tip, smile or try to be kind even when you don’t feel like it, pay compliments, chase the kid’s runaway ball down the sidewalk and throw it back to him, try to be larger than you are— particularly when it’s difficult. People do notice, people appreciate. I appreciate it when it’s done to (for) me. Small gestures can be an effort, or actually go against our grain (“I’m not a big one for paying compliments…”), but the irony is that almost every time you make them, you feel better about yourself. For a moment life suddenly feels lighter, a bit more Gene Kelly dancing in the rain."
Reblog if you’re a girl that likes any of the following:

gallifreyan-pizza:

  • X-Men
  • Avengers (that includes any of the individual characters movies)
  • Batman
  • Star Trek
  • Star Wars
  • And pretty much anything that’s action or targeted to guys

A guy friend of mine today said it was weird that my friend had all the X-Men movies because she was a girl. Needless to say we almost threw him out of the car. So I would like to prove to him that just because we have vagina’s that doesn’t impair us from enjoying an action film.
